Bascum Smith, the chairman of Russell County for 50 years passed away last
night. He will be sadly missed. Mr. Smith played a vital role in the field of

Pendleton County Conservation Districts'
Supervisor Dewey T. Peluso passed on Saturday January 30, 20l0 at his home after
a short period of lung cancer. Mr. Peluso had been a very dedicated Supervisor
for l2 years serving a Treasurer most of the time. Funeral will be Tuesday,
February 2nd at l0:00 a.m. at the St. Williams Catholic Church, at 6 Church
Street, Williamstown, Ky. Interment will be at the St. Johns Catholic Cemetary
in Pendleton County.
